Would you Pay?

I found a local dealer who if you buy from them, they would still honor the warranty. They are asking 79,999 for the car and it comes with the fixed battery and is updated to the most up to date software. It is also eligible for the 7500 dollar government rebate?

just trying to get some other opinions on it.

A Karma can be found for low 50's to high 60's. If the higher cost through the dealer that includes the warranty gives you peace of mind, then it may be worth it.
I'd buy from a dealer that still honored the warranty. A battery failure or traction motors or RDM failure would cost more than the upcharge.
The warranty, by itself, is not that valuable if the dealer can't source replacement parts. How are they going to get parts with which to honor the warranty?
How do you know they will honor the warranty? Other dealers claimed the same while Fisker was clearly in trouble but before they stopped answering the phones.
I would guess it would be a contract with Frank Kent Fisker and that is a dealership that has a long history with Cadillac and other brands and they aren't going anywhere.
That is the reason I bought my car from Frank Kent. The sales manager was great to work with, and peace of mind was worth extra cost.

So do they currently cover the cost of your warranty repair work, or is that out of pocket?

I've spoke with MKaire and he mentioned to me that they will cover the parts not the labor Marks car is brand new so time will tell how this pans out . I guess I will know when and if something breaks on his car and we need parts.
Just bought car last week, so thankfully have not had to deal with warranty. That being said, they are selling cars with an agreement to personally honor cost of parts and labor. My situation is a little different because I live in Florida. I am responsible for labor and they will pay and/or provide parts. Thankfully, I have Harleyguy 5 minutes from my house.

You are lucky, I live in Indy, no one near me, not even a Fisker dealer, I will have to go to Chicago, or Cincy. I found my car in Chicago, going to get it tomorrow, I hope... VIN is YH4K14AA9CA001110, I just hope its not a lemon, I have not seen history but I am taking a chance on a great car...the risk seems worth the reward from all the fans on the site.

5 minutes - me too!
That led to some research, and I see we are both "Mark", both attorneys, both just outside of Aventura, FL... You better not have a Shadow/Monsoon, or passing each other on the street could cause the universe to collapse!
