Wood replacement...

I would like to replace the wood in the EcoSport with wood from the EcoChic. I like the look of the EcoChic wood much better. If anyone knows of how I can accomplish this please let me know. Thanks

There's no difference between sport and chic. Some grains just look different. It just happened to be in the Chic that you saw the wood grain you liked.

Maybe one came from a California fire and the other from the bottom of Lake Michigan.:dodgy:

Yep. There are differences in the type of wood used by model and interior color combo. The brochure lists them all out. IIRC, there are 4 possibilities.
Thanks Sandy, it took a little time but I finally found the old brochures. The wood I am in search of is the Rescued Walnut Burl which only seems available with the Earth or Glacier Tri-Tone. So I guess I can only wait to see what options Wx will have available and order a replacement. Unless of course someone can direct me to the graveyard where Fiskers go to die. Maybe the pieces were salvaged from another vehicle - maybe?
Does anybody put any "product" on their wood trim to keep it looking "new"? I have a Canyon interior, and live in AZ, where wood dries out. Suggestions? Please?
I don't see the need on my car, but if I have to keep wood in good shape, e.g. Furniture, I always use a clean olive oil...
My grandma told me and it always worked fine ;-)
I've used Watco oil on natural wood for years and my Karma is no exception. It comes in several types for different types of wood. Here is an example: http://www.amazon.com/RUST-OLEUM-65951-Medium-Walnut-Danish/dp/B001007OJ4/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1452084568&sr=8-8&keywords=watco+oil
I have an extra wood set - I currently have the burl but am going back to the original set so it is available. Doug

I switched it in about 5 minutes myself
My Karma interior

I think your interior is the same as mine. I have the Canyon Tr-Tone Interior with the Fallen Mahogany wood trim. Hope this helps.
I have sunken white oak set (from monsoon interior) that I had switched to burl
Do the 100 Signature cars all have the same wood?
If yes, what kind of wood is it and where is it from?
