I have a black Eco with the tan interior and I just passed 33,400km. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't get looks, pictures or people approaching me on the car and how good it looks :)

I've had it for over 2 years now and I drive it all year round. Just now I came home in a blizzard and it was a bit slippery but my snows do a good job. My feet get cold so I have to have a little heating fan blow from the bottom during winter and I notice that the battery only holds enough charge for about 50km when its cold which is horrible but I've grown used to it. It used to really bug me since we're really driving a heavy, gas combustion car with just a bit of electric power to it.

I do see it as owning a bit of history, however... as the day of the hybrid will come to an end in less than a decade as I've heard the big auto companies already have a battery that can go 1000km but haven't put it out yet because they don't quite understand how it will affect their inventory of ICE cars.

All in all, it's been a great car. The software bugs are annoying, the NAV sucks, there are glitches everywhere and I've had to do hard resets in parking lots because the car refused to go into Drive. It's no wonder they went bankrupt and it's too bad that I am forced to drive it all year round as I can't really afford another car so I'm really hoping I don't get into an accident. ... if it wasn't for that I'd be storing it and keeping it in pristine condition because I think it'll be a collector's item down the road.

Good research topic Pat and I like your overview. I have 16,000km on my Eco Sport and got it in may of 2012. Not in your milage league but I am in your enthusiasm club.

My client from NY is about at 75000 miles now (120000km if converted correctly). Lol, I dont think anyones gonna catch him!
I rebuilt his battery with a few modules and a BECM at 63000 along with routine maintenance and center muffler that I welded (as I couldnt get them at the time) car still looks like new though. He came to our NE owners meet and people were like paparazzi shooting pics of his odometer :)

28k miles for me, since March of 2012, and no major problems after the 510 software update and battery replacement. Which is fortunate because there is not a dealer anywhere near me in Washington State. Except for that fact, (I am not a car person, and rely on my dealer to do everything), I've had a terrific experience with my Karma and am not sorry for making the purchase. It is my favorite car ever.

I think you can post this as an actual poll. It would be interesting to see all of the results in a chart format. As for me: only 15K (miles, that is).

I clocked 30K Miles in the first 20 months I owned my Karma, but in the last 12 months, I have only put 4K miles on the meter, and with the big freeze on the East Coast, she is not likely to emerge from storage any time soon. :(

38tkm from Switzerland

no way to use the Karma in Winter here - I even did not bother to buy Winter tires...

I am using a proper BMW 530xd in Winter - that gets you up to any skiing resort :-:)

I might keep the record on fuel consumption though: my car shows 172km/l since ever - I think I filled the tank 4 or 5 times. As my office is 32km from home, the car goes purely on electricity and I charge it overnight..
Sometimes the motor starts (either to charge the 12 v system or to put some oil into the engine, who knows...) - maybe I can overcome that by putting the car on a trickle charger from time to time
