Mungge,

I bought my Karma @ Emil Frey in Germany.
Their over all service is fine, they are very helpful and responsive and on request I always get a loaner. I really like these people.

To me, it seems that they are left on their own, when it comes to binding information, required from the manufacturer... Fisker CA

Unfortunately, the Forum members working for Fisker dealers, are much more informed.... Thanks to you all!!!!!

There is one big area, they really have to improve: there is simply No active communication about what's going on. I asked them, that even if they do not get information from Fisker or the importer in CH, they should at least tell this fact! It's always better to here bad messages than none at all.

Thanks. This is precisely also my experience. What bothers me is that they are not on top when asking questions...they answer some (for answering sake, many times factually wrong) and ignore others. When asking again, then there is silence...does not increase confidence. At least they cld say I check or I cannot answer or I am not allowed to answer...whatever...but silence is outright rude. Same happened to me with Fisker Switzerland when I made my reservation for the Atlantic (early last year when company was in better shape and Atlantic was perceived on track). They had hardly any info about the Atlantic and process of reservation...

Guess this has / had more to do with whom Emil Frey and Fisker is hiring at the customer front and how they train those people...not all are cut for such a job to the satisfaction of (future) customers.

Does anybody have any information about a Fisker European HQ, just set up in Munich android be run by Bernhard Koehler?
Maybe this will change things... maybe Fisker decided to go this way, because of the way, Fisker Automobile AG ( sub of Emil Frey AG) is working for them?

Hi Stefan,

I sent an email to Bernhard Koehler about getting a European Certificate of Conformity for the Fisker that I am currently importing from the US. I got the email of the after sales manager in Munich. I asked him about the future of Fisker and he had no news, but they were all hoping for an announcement soon. Let me no if you want the guys email?

License Plate

Hi mungge and Stefan

I just bought a new Karma this week. Will add pictures as soon as I have it and the weather allows... :)

One question: How did you guys mount your front license plate without drilling holes in the bumper? Would really appreciate a "non-invasive" solution...

Have a great day

In the us, I used a plate holder with stick on from Scotch , peal and stick - for extra protection, I wrapped thin, clear, fishing wire around the grill - has worked for over 7 months.

As a front license plate is mandatory in Germany and afaik in most European countries, I did not waste a second on this one.

I got my Karma with a plateholder in an unremarkable design ... provided, you have accepted, that you need a plate at all :)

Are there any Karma owners in Switzerland? What is your experience with the Karma so far and how is the service you receive from the distributor, Emil Frey AG?
I got my Fisker last week as a used one. It belonged to the General Manager of Emil Frey for a year and has 15'000Km. My Front tires do not look to good anymore. I do not find the Goodyear in Size 255/35 R22. Does anybody know where to buy them?

Thanks. I will do. I'm living (and driving) in Switzerland. Have to cheek who is selling Yokos. I found the back tires on Internet in Switzerland but the front ones seems to be a problem if it has to be Goodyear.
Thanks again

Hello dear Forum.
Just got delivery of my Fisker Karma ES, bought at Emil-Frey.
They put new tyres on it and it is in a very very nice state. Has 11000km, exterior earth color and interior the black leather and black cloth.
Emil-Frey is a good place to buy cars but it's true the sales man didn't really know the car that well. The only thing he told me to be careful with is to only fuel up the fuel tank when the battery level isnt like at 100%.
The rest I did tell him I downloaded the user manual on my phone and PC to read it slowly.
P.S Do you know if the Karma and the EVer logos are glued to the car or are they bolted on the body?

Cheers,

/JC

I have a earth Karma in Basel Stadt since 2 years and a silver signatory imported from the US last year with Bern plates...

don't try to understand - my wife did neither :)

btw: electric sports cars are not treated very well in our "ecologic" Basel: they take the horsepower and multiply it with some factor: my Karma is taxed as a 5.6 liter engine gas super sport car in Basel (1600/year), whereas in Zürich it seems to be a hybrid (50% of the real 2 l engine = 120/year) and in Bern it is per weight and energy-efficiency (300/year).

I did not yet check the 22 other Swiss Kantons.. we know we are crazy here ...

hi Rabbit,
what did the tires shipped from the US finally cost??
I am using Pirellis on the back (200/piece) and had to order "Fisker" for the front recently (950/piece ) - no tires of that size at all available in CH,D or F...
