I had that happen the other day, but only on the Nav screen. At the time the Nav unit was locked up, so I figured this was part of a malfunction. I've never seen it do that any other time, however, on one occasion I did have my dash go to the white theme for no reason.

Yeah - I liked the original roadshow cars which automatically changed 'themes' based on ambient light... hopefully they revive this feature (wonder if they kept the ambient light sensor in the production car... I suppose so given the 'auto' feature for headlights).

They can use the same sensor that turns the headlights on and off. It's already used to dim the command center screen at night if you have selected a level other than "Parade".
