I thought, I would see some Karmas on the road.

We are in Las Vegas and haven't seen any ;-(
I'd be interested, how the Karma handles the current temperatures of about 115'F
... and any Ticket and/or restaurant recommendations are appreciated

I live in Phoenix and drive my karma in 110-120 deb heat all of the time for 2 summers now. No problem at all. Solar keeps fan running when parked and my karma interior never gets higher than 90 even when all day in sun
Sportsmedocc, what's the option in the command center settings that should be enabled in order for the fans to run from solar when the car is parked?
Last week it was 90-100 in North California and I didn't notice that the car was getting cooled when parked in the sun..

I'll be heading to Vegas tomorrow, Saturday, to work on some Karma's out there.

No option to set. They come on automatically if you park the car in the sun. The effect is limited since it is just fans moving air, not true air conditioning.

To see how they work, check out this post.

Very cool. I have often wondered the same but figured "it must be working" since my car interior is all black and is always quite comfortable temp-wise when I return.

i was told when i picked up the car that there should be something enabled on the setting menu to have the fans to work.. but they guy there could be wrong..

i guess i'll put some paper strings on the vents to see of mine works as in the video, thanks for the link.
Nothing to enable as far was I know. You can hear a faint fan running but I notice the difference in interior temp significantly compared to my other cars. I also have an ecosport with monotone gray leather and they are not hot at all despite triple digit temps.

There is a setting called "Cabin Preconditioning" that is supposed to allow you to run the A/C before getting in the car, but that setting currently does not do anything. The solar fan system does not have a setting, just lots of sunshine.

Any chance that the solar system not engaged when the car is charging? Maybe that's why my fans are not working is full sun?

May I assume, that some Vegas Karmas got the CUI Update?
Would you owners mind, presenting it to me? Anyway, I'm interested, how others are highlighting their Karmas.

If the update is that good, I see a reasonable chance to gather a bounty to invite Lormax to Germany or the Netherlands to organize an update party . We are quite e few over there ;-)

I'm in Vegas for some more days. Please PM me, I will be flexible.
Thanks

I'll be working on the cars on Monday. I PMed you Stefan with contact info. Feel free to get ahold of me and I'm sure you can come along, no problem.
I believe the setting called remote start is for running the fans when the interior temp becomes to high .
