Seems like we should consider wheel locks for our expensive wheels as they may be tempting for someone to steal. Does anyone know the specification for the wheel lug nuts and does anyone have a specific brand of wheel lock they would like to recommend?

Looks like the closest fit is a Gorilla 71641N. It is the same 1.4" length as the stock lug nuts with the same 14x1.50 thread. The only difference I can see is that the key takes a 13/16 socket whereas the stock lung nuts take a 7/8 socket. It's available on Amazon. Anybody have any opinions on this choice?

I'm not going to comment about Fremont. Wanted to ask what neighborhood you plan to have the car in, but with my luck my car will be on blocks when I get home. :)
I live in a very nice neighborhood that hasn't had any crime. I'm more worried about other places I may take my Karma.

You go up to Oakland a lot? :D

(I bought my current car when I was living in El Cerrito and would sometimes have to go out that way, so I got wheel locks on it. They're kind of a pain...)
