Either he is not well informed or - more likely - that came out the wrong way. We know what the speakers do: create the Tron-sound that warns pedestrians and cyclists.

Interesting, though, that the cameraman (in the back seat) says: "I can tell the engine's in the back: I can hear it."

Has anyone else been in the back seat when the engine kicked in? I wonder if there's some audio dynamics of the exhaust traveling along the side of the car that makes it appear the sound is coming from the rear.

At any rate, that comment probably threw the Fisker rep off.
