My Fisker is white with white rims. I curbed the tire a half dozen times. I sanded the damage, in one case had to grind it with a grinding stone then sand it. I used some porcelain paint to fill some hole damage, then sanded that. I didn't have bondo.
I originally used tremclad gloss white to paint the tire and it was a perfect match, but tremclad is a fairly soft paint and tended to get dirty easy and go yellow in the sun over time.
I recently used gloss white appliance paint from Rustoleum ($7 Home Depot) and this is a hard epoxy paint and it appears it will hold up well.
