Trunk light warning

Has anyone had this pop up on their screen? The trunk light bulb is out, I confirmed it visually. My dealer said to try the "reset the battery" trick under the hood, but that didn't help. He said it's the first they've heard of it, and I should bring it in.

The car has 600 miles on it. Kind of early for this to happen, no? But seems like a lot of early glitches and growing pains going on for this otherwise great-looking car.

I just finished a car today whose trunk would not open, it was a terminal in the trunk lid harness connector that was not fully seated. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the same issue on your vehicle (connector not fully seated, not the trunk not opening).

Thanks. The connector would control the trunk light and the opener? Because the trunk opens fine, it's just the light failure.
the connector has 7 pins, 2 for the trunk opener, 2 for the light, 2 for the center stop lamp and 1 ground. On the one i looked at, only of one of the pins for the trunk opener wasn't fully inserted into the connector. it may be that one of the pins for the light isn't fully inserted on yours
