Welcome fejer! I can't offer any help on the cause other than to say it is definitely a glitch; mine is not that variable, and starts to show decreased range after driving a quarter of a mile.
The E-Range gauge is pretty linear and responds in real time. But when you are running the ICE (Gas Engine), there is delay and the gauge stays steady for a while then jumps down. It seems like it loses contact with the gas level sensor for a while, then catches up. It's annoying but not really dangerous, unless you are running very low on gas. In my experience, the low gas warnings tend to be very accurate, so you should rely on those when you are getting close to empty, but not on the total range.Hi all....I am a new member....I am having issues with my total range gauge. Whenever I drive my car my total range gauge does not move until I have driven around 20 miles...then it moves up and down up and down. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be the cause. Thanks
