I still have not decided if I am going to leave the dealership with a Karma or a refund. My head is telling me that the car is just not where it should be to justify the price but I am having a really tough time giving up on being able to drive that beautiful car around in Detroit and showing people that electric cars can be really cool!

Wow! That is a tough choice. You may want to mention to your head that the bugs appear to be in the process of being identified and squashed in quick order, judging by early reports.

P.S. Are you planning on getting the winter wheel/tire kit?
Honestly, I'd recommend waiting for the 2013 model. Hopefully they'll have the kinks worked out by then, but if you cancel your order now you'll end up having to pay the higher price later.

I had a similar choice and ultimately I pulled the trigger and bought it. With the price hike on the 2012 model, it is also likely that the 2013 model will also be increased in price, so you could be paying another $10-12K on top of the current price to get basically the same car, albeit with maybe better fitted panels (although that is not yet clear). For me, I'd rather pay the $118K today (all in) and be able to drive it around town, be among the first to have it etc, than wait 12 mos and pay $130K for basically the same machine.
$1 says you have good Karma tomorrow

Nothing is perfect. Focus on the 99% and not the 1% imperfection. Able to be in the same trench with the gang and experience the real history of Karma in real time. Where else can you get a luxury EV without range anxiety? Go for it :)
Good luck. Got mine today. Look in the Owner's Garage under Signature Edition #51 thread for my review.
CB, get the car. You won't regret it. Software bugs can be worked out, the fit and finish issues maybe not as much. But you'll be driving a very rare car that is beautiful either sitting still or motoring down the highway. I'm with the majority here, get the car.
I would not accept the car until fit and finish met your approval and known issues are fixed. Then, go for it!
Just do it!

I've had my Karma for 650 miles/18 days. Absolutely NO buyer's remorse. At least 100 people (mostly strangers) have talked to me about the car. All of their reactions are positive.

It's a pleasure to drive, and fun to be an early owner.
Please be sure to post pics for us, after you get it home. ;)
Great advice guys. Sparky168 I agree, experience Fisker history in real time. Karma1 Scott, great advice. Let them keep the car until you are happy with the fit and finish and the car has a software update we all say works, then buy it. Or do like we have, enjoy the car while the software issues are ironed out. Dennis, I'm totally in agreement with you. Love my car, even though its still at the dealership getting 6.13, but I called them Tuesday and told them not to bring it to me until the rain stopped and it has been raining since.
Cheers,
