From Bloomberg:

Fisker is planning for the possibility it won’t be able to access the remaining U.S. loan funds and will be successful solely based on Karma sales, LaSorda said.

“Can we make this a sustainable business? The answer is yes,” he said. “In 2013 we’ll be profitable, just with the Karma by itself.”

Fisker Automotive has produced about 2,000 Karmas. Of that figure, 840 have been delivered to dealers in the U.S. and Canada, LaSorda said.

The Energy Department may permit Fisker Automotive to resume drawing loans funds as “they see us deliver the monthly numbers,” LaSorda said. “We have a new business plan and we’re getting strong support from our financial partners.”

840 cars... that's a good number thus far. Here's hoping that Fisker hits their numbers (and takes care of us early adopters)!

I agree, Fisker really needs to take care of the early adopters, the ones that put there money down 4 years ago and stuck with it!!

Assuming demand keeps pace, building 20-25 new cars a day Fisker will have produced and delivered more cars than Tesla by midyear, in a much shorter time span. Of course, Tesla has a very healthy backlog of orders for the Model S and the Model X, so Fisker's lead may be short lived :)

Yes, there will be no way the Karma can keep pace with sales of the S and X as they are a slightly less luxury market depending on if you get a base model or go all out. The Project Nina stuff will have to compete at that price level. Not sure if Coda is going to get in the mix or not. It definitely does not compare to the base model S, which means that I don't think they will survive. Because, as short as it is Tesla does have a much more established foot in the door of electric auto building.
