At 15k, I'm in need of new tires. I wanted to try the Yokohama Parada Spec X's that I've heard about on here, however Tire Rack only has the front tires (255/35/22), not the rears (285/35/22). I had a local Jaguar dealer call around my area (Pittsburgh) without luck.

Anyone have another reliable online tire dealer in the USA, or any suggestions?

I think you need to find a local yoko dealer and have them order them for you. You said you had a Jag dealer call around, but did you call yoko direct?

Dont waste the $ (even though alot less) on the F1s. They chatter and skip so bad when parking or turning tight below 40 degrees. Yokos ride waaay better all around well worth the extra money and wait.
I agree... I switched to the Yokos this Spring and have been quite happy with them. I live in MN, so temps factored into my decision. Haven't noticed any skipping with them. Ride, traction, and noise level are all fine, too. Best part is I don't have every gawker telling me I need new tires!

I contacted TireRack directly and they do have the 285's, and are shipping the "Back order" tires today from their Louisiana warehouse. PHEW! Makes me nervous though for when I need new ones in the future, hopefully the new Fisker's demand the same size tires to keep them available...

Yes. I get that all the time from customers saying people tell them they need tires. Far southern owners just dont get to enjoy the lovely skipping and jumping of a cold Karma...

Out of Interest, I wondered if you ever contacted Yokohama directly (or your local Yoko dealer). If so someone in their network is saying they are hard to come by, I'd like to ask my contact about it. He said the winter tires were discontinued and being destroyed, but all-season shouldn't be hard to order at all, so I hope you'll let me know.

It seems some are sold on the Yoko's. My tire dealer here in ATL (who I trust), said the Yoko's are basically a SUV and Small truck tire. He recommended staying with the Good Years. I got 17 K on the originals (South). I get about the same on the 21" Mich. on my Audi.

Has anyone had the Yoko's on the road for an extended time.... I may consider on the next change in 10K.

non sequitur, I had not contacted Yoko directly. However, I used their website to call over 10 local dealers, none of whom could get their hands on a set of the 285s. I decided to call TireRack direct before contacting Yoko direct. TireRack order form says back order, but the guy on the phone said he could ship the tires that day (Wed) direct from a Louisiana warehouse. They'll arrive at a local service center today, Friday.

has anyone tried Falkens? I found tonight that my stock Goodyears are shredded - well actually only one, so I tend to think its a faulty tire. But I need tires pronto and these Falken 452s look nice. Yokos are my 2nd choice... but wondering if anyone has gone with the Falkens.
