Things you love about your Karma

Time for a positive thread about our beloved Karmas.

Let's start a list of non-obvious things you love about your Karma. Little hidden gems of design, function or technology that surprised you in a good way.

I'll kick things off with 3 that come to my mind:

1. The entry chime/music when you open the door and sit down.

2. The back up camera seems to "see around corners"...which is huge help when parked diagonally with other cars on both sides.

3. When your phone is connected via USB and playing music from that device, Command Center displays the cover art and title/artist.

I still get a little thrill when I see the diamond dust sparkle of the "Deep Ocean" color in the sun. That may be too obvious for this thread.....but having ordered from a paint chip, it seems a true gem of design.

The driver's door pocket is big enough to hold a little trash bag, so that I don't have to keep one out in the open, cluttering up the car.
The way heads turn and fingers point while driving through a parking lot...
For me, one of the biggest non-obvious things turned out to be how comfortable the car is. I drove more than 600 miles in a day and felt fine. I've driven my other cars similar distances and at the end of such a trip I am always dead tired.

So true! That is what I should have written.

I just got back from a trip to the local Whole Foods, with the specific plan to go onto this thread and say something similar. It is really fun to walk back to your car and have not one, but two guys coming from different directions jump when the lights flash, then sheepishly ask if they can take photos. Before they follow you out of the parking lot snapping pictures the predictable "What's a Fisker?" and "This is an electric car?" questions are a pleasure I never expected.

I second this. The seats are extremely comfortable, I can drive the Karma all day long without back pain (unlike my Model S- driver seat seems like it was designed by someone with a concave spine).

+1. I was blown away with how comfy the car is to sit in for any length of time. I'm sure we've all owned some very nice cars ... but the Karma truly takes the prize for me and my experience. YMMV.
One more...I'm surprised I didn't pick up on this before but the key is that same diamond shape as the optical group and cut-outs in the front air-dam. I love that sorta stuff.

Model S for Scoliosis ;)
Things I love about my Karma?
1. I LOVE washing my Karma. I haven't hand washed my cars for 25 years.:)
2. When I valet at the finer resturaunts and at the upscale shopping centers the Valets always park my car in the best places.
3. I often have to point out to admirers of my Karma that it is a four door vehicle.
4. After three thousand plus miles driven, long trips and short, I am averaging 102 MPG!
5. I love the low slung feel of the car on the road and thru quick turns.
6. I personally love the front grill. It is so unique.
7. I love the sound emitted while driving slow

What ArtguySD said. All of it.
My personal favorite is that the car is offered in eco-chic. As a vegetarian that does not wear animal products, I love that I can drive a nice car that does not use leather.
The ARMRESTS. The armrest on the door and the center console are in perfect position to allow both elbows to rest on the armrests while both hands are in perfect 8-4 position on the steering wheel. This adds significantly to driving comfort.

Does Eco-Standard wear any animal products?
All of the above plus the awesome sound system. Although this is probably standard in most luxury cars, I especially like the blue tooth audio. I was blown away the first time the music in my iPhone began playing wirelessly (and where it last left off) when I hit the Start button.
Ok, I'm not sure if I'd put these 2 items in the "love" category but I just noticed them today.

1) The accelerator pedal has a pivot point in the middle. You can make it "teeter-totter" by pressing higher up on the pedal. This struck me as very strange as I can't think of another car with the pedal being anything other than a uniform "lever".

2) The front Christmas lights (the small LED bulbs) go out when you use a corresponding turn indicator. Seems odd...I mean, why? Just leave them on, what's the big deal?
I love the smooth acceleration. Reminds me of the feel you get with modern roller coasters
I love the relaxing quiet when driving
I love the connection I feel to the road
I love the lack of play in the steering wheel especially compared to my traditional sedans
I love the light reflecting off the lines of the car in both in daylight and night
I love the headlights, like little jewels that attract and sparkle
Ok, it's Friday so time to share this one...

The very first thing I noticed when I got in my friend's Karma for a drive was how the two central air vents in the dash looked like a woman's "rack".

I would love to talk to the head of interior design to see if this was done on purpose or not. Either way, who could blame him/her...I mean, who doesn't like bewbies?

I hope I'm not the only one who noticed that. Next time you get in your Karma, take a look and tell me I'm crazy. :D

I am little surprised that they sold a car to a 13-year old. :D

No, had not noticed this before and frankly, the image of a rack blowing hot or cold air at me is more than a bit disturbing.

Nothing wrong with finding more reasons to love your car, thought.
