I just have to say that after driving my Fisker for about 6 weeks now even with all the little bugs and tics, none of which are anything more then that, they have never kept me from actually using the car and getting where I want to go, it is truly a marvel. There is no more beautiful car on the road, hands down. I can't go anywhere without people looking, taking pictures and if I am parked wanting to talk about it. And in every instance they are all smiling and just have this dreamy look in their eyes (and they don't even get to drive it). The gas mileage is amazing, the ride is amazing, the look is amazing and the bottom line is that for everyone that is picking at this and picking at that, this is the most technologically advanced car on the road, considering how forward thinking it is it's performance is impressive and I could not be happier. So I say politely to all of you, not bitterly... chill out. We all knew we all knew we were "early adopters" and that comes with some degree of trepidation especially at this price point, but I just want to stand up and say THANK YOU TO HENRIK, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I could not be happier. This car rocks!

Mike, congrats on joining the club. We're all big fans of Fisker and love our Karmas. That said, we know it can be better. MUCH better in fact. Our chronicled issues and pet peeves with the Karma are meant to give Fisker more guidance on where they can/should improve. We are all beta testers to some degree here, and most of us are fine with that.

oops... guess it is one of my bugs! Fixed, tks hahha
Sorry to bust your chops. It was all in good fun. :p

Just in case it is not apparent from my many posts on the topic, I am also a huge fan of this car and actually got the chance to tell Henrik in person how much I appreciate the great car he designed and built for me. So, no disagreements from me on that point. I am still on 614 and experiencing the various bugs associated with that version but have nothing but confidence in the car's basic design and power train and love the looks of the car. I am not all that thrilled with people trying to photograph the car while I am driving down at freeway speeds and usually keep well clear of them, but it's still remarkable how compelled people feel to get your attention and talk to you about the car, and I am happy to be the goodwill ambassador for the brand.

Interesting two perspectives.... If we collectively enjoy the ride, the attention, the performance and the features in our Karmas ... I suggest the "piling-on" of issues, suggesting things we aren't quite correct about, making extreme statements on our dislikes can have a adverse effect on the Fisker brand, its technology and its sales that will make this truly innovative vehicle less successful. Please consider the potential buyers in the audience and the impression left. Griping about something to someone who can do nothing about it is useless and non-productive. Just something to consider.

Al J, you are right on. The Karma is an exceptional vehicle and worthy of praise not knocks. 2,500 miles of driving and still loving it!

Today I reached 5000 miles (8000 kms) with my Karma. It has been such a joy to drive this car. Getting in my Karma and driving to work is a feast, every day again. Weekends are fun, but every time I mind that I can't take it to work for two days.

And since software-update 6.15 the controls are practically flawless. Ofcourse, as one of the very early customer cars (#332, early November) it had a few build issues, but about half of those have already been solved. Fisker is learning from my and other owners' experiences and reports and is making improvements in the production process, which means the build quality of cars being built and delivered now is already better.

I know that Fisker and my dealer are dedicated on improving my car further. I love to be on this adventure with Henrik and his people and I hope to see more and more Fiskers on the road in the coming years.

And I don't mind being a bit of a 'beta-tester' for the sake of progress in green car technology. So far seeing and driving along in my Karma has directly inspired 4 people to buy a plug-in hybrid, the Opel Ampera (Chevrolet Volt).

Agreed! To that point many have suggested limiting the forum to "owners only". That thought was rejected, but most of us do update our profile when we receive our cars to indicate that we are owners. Some of the commentators are voicing opions based on something other than personal experience with their own Karma. I can sell or trade-in my Karma when it doesn't suit my needs. That I don't, and use it as my daily driver, speaks to how much I enjoy my Karma! My biggest problem is now EVERYONE wants me to be the driver when we go places together. A regular ICE car is no substitute for the Karma when it is a choice.
