Hi, Was wondering if the accessory battery could be charged by a trickle charger over the storage period through a power supply socket?

You need to hook up a trickle charger sing the fuse box under the the fuse box is located on the drivers side near the headlamp.Open up the lid you will see what looks like a bolt sticking up that's the positive side .Place the ground wire on the computer that's close too the fire wall that has a big red cover don't use the bolt under the cover that's also a positive lead .Towards the rear of that computer is a large cable with a bolt going through it that's the ground wire .
the above way is the only way you should trickle charge the 12 volt system

Forgot to add get one that charges AGM plate batteries . This is the one I use all the time
