Anyone else with this problem? I've noticed that this part of the steering wheel is chipped in all of the Karmas I've seen. I couldn't stand the ugliness of that anymore so I scraped all the paint off the trim. I think it looks better this way :D

Tried this, but doesn't seem to work for the complete thing...

Somebody has an idea on how to take the buttons off, including the frame?

I just picked at it with my fingernail. It literally just flaked off. Not sure if the paint there is different from other trims but I have EcoChic

Must be that super Eco-friendly rainwater-based paint made with ink pigments harvested from volunteer squids that they use on the Eco Chics. :D

Has anybody tried to take the buttons and their frames apart?

Mine too but only very little on the left side. Back when my Fisker warranty was still available, I brought my car in to have them look at it, and they swapped out my entire steering wheel! I thought they would simply replace the bezel. A month after it started doing it again. I just use a black permanent marker periodically and it covers it well enough ?
