Well now the the Karma is on the cusp of production there are a couple of questions that haven't been answered (perhaps they have, but I have not seen them)

1)Oil change intervals

2) How is the Karma going to deal with engine maintenance/lubrication?

3)How is the Karma going to deal with the possibility of stale gas?

I can assume that it's going to be somewhat like the Chevy Volt, but has Fisker answered these questions?

If you hardly ever use sport mode or never drive more than 50 miles, the Ecotec-engine could stand idle for a long time. That is not going to do it much good. So I guess they will have programmed it to kick in once in a while (hopefully with an announcement on the screen).

Indeed, something I read implied that it will do precisely this.

It may still be wise to add Sta-Bil to your tank, though. :D

I'm going to assume that they will use a pressurized tank, like the Volt, to keep the gas in good shape for longer...

Now that production has officially started, there is nothing hold Fisker back from releasing the details.
