Is there any functionality to the silver button like object on the inside of the two front seat headrests?

If you pull on them, they are attached to some sort of cable on the inside of the head rest

?

I have told my 4 year old daughter that it is the eject button. When she gets out of control, I threaten to use it.

It does nothing. It's not a button, just a design embellishment.
Push the silver ring inwards towards the head rest
Ok. There is a small rod there. What's it for?

Is it for hanging a coat/jacket? :s
Seems pretty involved to hang a jacket and doesnt look like that it would work that well. Would need a hanger as well otherwise would destroy collar
I couldn't find anything in the manual about it. Everyone who sits in the car asks what they are for. There are proper ceiling hooks above the rear side windows that are for hanging drycleaning, etc. I'm not sure why they would put effort into these things unless they served some purpose. They don't seem to do anything? Travis?
My dealer told me, when I got the car delivered, that it indeed was a coat hanger.
I've heard hanger, though they don't seem functional to me. I just chalk it up as an accent piece and move on.
Actually it is a little hidden secret. If you simultaneously pull on both (they slightly pull out) and hold for 22.73 sec, it will extend the life of the battery pack by 20 years, cause FA to be solvent and rehire Lormax and Harleyguy at 7 figure salaries and a rpivate jet to come visit our cars monthly. We all have to do it together though for it to work so it can get tricky...
You owners better get cracking on organizing this! ;)
Coat Hanger. But seems impractical
I have actually used it a few times :p
