Ship of the Week - "Turandot"

4812 Views 13 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  Deep Ocean
I just spoke with Andy at Fisker corporate, and he let me know that my vehicle is on the water on our Ship of the Week: Turandot

She departed Southampton on January 16th and is scheduled to arrive in Halfax on January 23rd. She will then proceed to New Jersey, arriving January 25th or 26th.

She's out of range at the moment, but she should be trackable at this link: Turandot

Here's hoping the U-boats and icebergs stay away.

So unless there are multiple ships with cars in transit, I'll be tracking this ship along with Brent. Thanks for the info.
Halifax
NY bound - scheduled to arrive the 26th

My dealer told me to expect 3-4 weeks before it even leaves NY due to the hard and soft updates and mine arrived on the 18th.

Thanks BillyO,
Of course I have been following a ship that doesn't have my car on it.
The good news is that I found a track and trace website from the ship company.
http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp
Go to track & trace and enter your VIN into the cargo ID.
My car is on the Queen Sapphire ETA NY on 8/2
Thank you for the link marcus. I tried it and found that my Karma, #1188, is currently on the Turandot in Bremerhaven, Germany. :D

That is odd, because Turandot is currently in NY, and the Queen Sapphire is in Germany?

You are correct, it says that the ETA for New York is today. My mistake. :p
Awesome link, Marcus -- that's the most useful ship info yet!

My car also arrived in Newark on the 18th. Today I got the following message from my dealer:
"They are completing the software flash, recall work on the battery and 2 other campaigns"
Does anyone know what the 2 other campaigns are?

Wiring harness check and grounding strap install, I believe.
Interestingly our car flew through the Newark updates. A good story for Fisker if they've gotten into the rhythm on the repairs and upgrades. i like the link as well, wish I had that when our car was in Europe. The dealers should also know about this link so that they can give better updates to their customers.
