Good article, much more balanced and car-centric than that other publication which recently dismissed the Karma...
I'm still not sure why the car mags still tend to drive this thing for so many miles without ever plugging it in. How about a long-term test that plugs the car in every 40-50 miles and takes the auto writer to-and-from the office each day.

They have a small mistake there about the roof solar panel, they wrote it's 120 volt.. While It's actually 120 watts..

Other then that it's a really nice article, especially all the visual tech breakdown.

Agreed, that was my only complaint about the article, which I thought was written by someone who "gets it" about the development of electric transportation. My personal experience backs up the research on average miles per day, my average day is all electric. Even on a day like yesterday, where I drove about 100 or so miles, without time to fully charge it between trips, I used less than a gallon of gas.
