Reduced Performance Error

Guys

I am a Belgian Fisker Owner and I am really worried about my € 120.000,- car.
Yesterday my wife and I were driving towards Bruges when all the sudden the car gave a red warning 'Reduced Performance. Please contact Service Center'.
We parked the car on the side of the highway where it still resides because none of the roadside assistance numbers is still working.

Today we hope the Belgian Importer of Fisker will retrieve the car and troubleshoot it.

I bougth the car in beginning of 2013. It is not even a year old.

I am feeling worried, betrayed by Fisker and also the Belgian importer who is leaving the Fisker Driver hangin'.

Steve,

We all feel your pain, brother. As far as I know, all the US dealers have shut down their Fisker operations. Some still offer service on cash basis, but no parts. I Hope it turns out to be a minor issue. I have read a few postings about similar situations where just letting the car sit for a while (10 - 15 minutes) and then restarting it solved the problem long enough to let the owner get home. Did you try that? I used to drive an older Jaguar and my wife and I were used to having to sit on the side the road while the car came to its senses, but it's not a routine experience for many car owners.

Best of luck.
Steve, I did a quick search on the forum and found this post from @Lormax, one of our local experts, on that message. You may want to communicate this to your dealer to help with the diagnosis. You should also consider sending a PM to Lormax or Harleyguy for further suggestions.

I hope you tried a soft reset, and perhaps a hard reset before abandoning the car.
@carved: The Fisker Dealer Kroymans in Holland is very experienced. If you have car trouble I suggest to go to them. It is not too far from you.
Also already sent him a PM with some questions as well.
Thx Lormax for contacting me.

Dear Marc,

for what purpose do you propose to join forces. I have the feeling Krooymans is doing everything they can to keep our cars in good condition.
So far they have not charged me a penny, even though they have spend a lot of time on my car. Even after Fisker got into trouble.

By the way, to stay on topic, the last serious issue they solved for me was the "reduced performance" issue.
I could get it to go away with a hard reset a few times, but as it kept coming up I had my car taken to Krooymans. They replaced an inverter, that has something to do with starting up the petrol engine.
Since then I have not had any issues. They did tell me at the time (I think May) that this was the last inverter they had in stock, so I hope they managed to source some more somewhere

good luck
@Laguna
Great that there is existing an automotive in Hilversum that can help us out.
That is the kind of information we are looking for as drivers.
Thx
@Laguna

It is my car. So I hope the Belgian Importer got this piece on stock. And will replace it without cost but i do not think so.

Thank, but Google Translate deserves all the credit. :D
Enig idee of Fisker Breda nog in business is?
