Production Dates Holding Steady?

I checked in with Fisker and my car is still showing a production date of October 12 which means it should be pretty much built by now. Has anyone else gotten either confirmation or updates on their production dates?

It looks like they keep on building cars, and that is probably why Fisker is still confidently claiming it will still deliver cars to all 3000 deposit holders this year, with only 2,5 months to go. The only problem now is that they are accumulating at the factory. There must be a flood wave of cars coming our way once the Karma gets its certification. I hope the dealers can handle so many deliveries.
I am not really worried about getting the cars over here as long as they are building cars that fulfill our expectations. The entire 3000-car production is less than half of what the Elektra can carry. Shipping should be the least of our concerns but this being Fisker, the shipment may be delayed because of suspected U-Boat activity in the English channel or some other bizarre excuse, I mean, reason.

Nice.
As to the initial question about production dates: my car's production has been confirmed, and I was told on Oct 6 that Fisker did receive final EPA certification. The first cars were shipped and were on the Elektra, which made made port in New York Oct 13 (no U Boats!). First deliveries will be in Early to Mid November, so I should have mine in just a few weeks!

The Elektra is carrying 37 cars which are going to be demonstrators for the dealers. The actual shipment of customer cars have not left Finland yet, as far as anyone knows so the U-Boat or Gojira threat may not be completely ruled out yet. I would be delighted to see the "I got my Karma" thread start and flourish on this community, but until then, the vigil continues.

That does actually look a little like Bernie Kohler, Fisker's COO:

Now you really have me worried. :D

On Oct 6, I was told the dealer demonstrator cars had landed in the U.S. And would be shipping for delivery before end of October. I was also told that the signature (first 100) cars had left the factory and were on a vessel and were anticipated for mid November delivery to customers. I was under the impression that the Elektra had the signature cars, not the dealer demonstrators. I will check with the company on Monday, and I too look forward to the first posts in the "I got my Karma" thread. Thanks! Btw, my car's production date was August 15, so it has been sitting awhile waiting for the EPA.

I would not be disappointed at all if you are correct and I am wrong. Since Fisker has had such a dismal record with sending out even good news to its customers, we can't be sure until the cars actually show up at the dealers.

My last projected production date was early September. That was changed to October 20th. I checked late last week and they are sticking with that.

I also have an Oct. 20 build date, which I was given about a month ago. I spoke to my dealer (Fisker Silicon Valley) last week and they say that dates are holding firm. They expect their demo next week.
