When it comes to choosing a tire installer, is there any special mounting equipment required for the standard rims?

It's not the machine as much as the guy installing the tire . I don't have a very fancy machine as some of the newer ones that works fine . Hunter makes a kinds of machine but if your looking for the right machine it's called a leverless .

harleyguy is right, nothing special needed to mount the actual tire, BUT the tires will need to be road force balanced on a hunter road force balance machine

Hunter GSP9700 roadforce balancer to be specific. They can be match mounted using this as well.
