My Fisker already received 5 coats of Plastidip for winter protection from salt.
Need 5 more coats .
NOW I have to decided if I add Metalic (or not) on (mags only) or (on the full car)
OR Black matte or a shinny clear ????
Thank's

Is this something you put on the car every winter? Do you wash it off for the spring, or does it wear off. I've never heard of Plastidip.
I do that each year to all my cars and sometime I change completely the color
The best protection I know.

Look at winter protection with Plastidip on youtube:

Is it easy to remove? Are the vinyl wraps basically the same thing?

I've never used it myself but I believe it just peels off when needed, but is durable enough to stand up against the elements.

Its basically a rubber protective coating that I would say is more like a spray on clearbra in purpose (paint protector) than a vinyl wrap. You can buy this stuff at home depot in spray cans or by the gallon and use a spray gun to paint it on.

Pretty cool stuff.
Hello,
This guy if the friend of Sean the person who do my car from:
https://www.facebook.com/PlastiDipRiveSud
I am presently in Miami and going back to see the final product tonight in the cold weather of Montreal.
Thanks.
Realy easy to remove and really strong also.
Like a Wrap , but what I dont like about a wrap it is when the used a knife to cut the plastic all over the car.
The plastidip is a spray at a fraction of the price :
In Montreal the price for a complete Fisker is from 450$ to 650$
**** It is really important to find a good person to do the job ****
When you spray yourself look like an orange skin not nice….
Sean used a special 3000$ gun to spray and that look perfect like OEM.
Thanks
There are a number of how-to and explanatory videos on YouTube. I've watched several of them in the past. It's pretty facinating stuff to me:

Very nice stealth look. Great job.
Great Canadian winter shots with a "cool" Karma.
