The guys shipping the Karmas to California posted some pictures on their Facebook page:

I asked, and apparently these guys are only doing the California shipment. No word on other locations.

Cool! The Facebook entry says that they are in Indiana and will arrive in California on Monday.

Hopefully they are not detouring by the factory in SoCal for another software upgrade...

There are probably technicians riding with the cars and loading the upgrades via their mobile phones as they travel. :D

Just got an email from my dealer, and he told me that my car has been 'released for transport'! Wooo hoo! I should have it next week I'd guess.

So you are not cancelling your order?

Yeah, I told my dealer last month that I was drawing a line in the sand and that it had to arrive by the end of the year... or else. Looks like it's going to barely get that in.

My dealer said that Fisker told them mine would be one of the very first to be delivered in the country. Hard to believe since I only put my deposit down 12 months ago and so many people put theirs down 2-3 years ago.

Fisker Atlanta posted a pic of their Signature Series arrival:

Indeed, it is strange that you will get your car after 1 year, before people who ordered 4 years ago. Maybe your 'threats' were the loudest :D
But it also looks like it has become something of a lottery, where exterior color, interior color, continent of destination and pure luck determine who gets to drive first.

Still, it is great news and I hope you can drive soon. It's nice that you're staying onboard.

Perhaps we all should have started Fisker Owners Clubs of our own to achieve such pull...
Hahah... after all my bitching I'd be surprised if Fisker, Inc. ever wanted to speak to me again ;)

Whoohooooooo, I just got a call from my dealer. Deliveries in Europe can start. My car is on a trailer now, going by ferry from Finland to Sweden, and then via Denmark and Germany to The Netherlands. That takes about 2-3 days, so the car should arrive here next week.

If I choose to register it this year - instead of waiting until January for better residual value (don't know yet) - I could be driving my Karma within 1,5 weeks. The wait is almost over. :D
Dutch, awesome news! Send pictures ASAP!
According to updates on the transport company's Facebook page, they delivered one Karma to the San Diego dealer on Sunday and two more to the Anaheim dealer yesterday.

Did you decide yet if you'll take delivery now or next year?
I've decided I want to take delivery this year, I can't show up without that car for Christmas again after missing 2009 and 2010... :dodgy:

I hope Fisker of The Netherlands will manage to get all the paperwork (registration, license plate) done in time. I'm sure they will try, but they are receiving 15 cars this week! So fingers crossed.
Look at this sweet picture: 10 Karma's (out of what I believe are 15) that have just arrived at Fisker of The Netherlands (Kroymans) in Hilversum. Mine is one of them :D

There is also an SE among them, and that will be the first one to be delivered to its owner, which is how it should be. I hope I will follow soon after.

I am assuming all these cars are up to date on software, as they left the factory just a few days ago. So they hopefully just need some unwrapping, some paper work and the license plates.

Silver Wind is obviously the most popular color (my choice too).

@Dutch: I assume "Junk" means something different in Dutch than it does in English. :D

Congratulations! Hope you will get your car soon.

In Dutch 'junk' means 'addicted to', usually to drugs but in this case to cars. It derives from the English word junkie. On autojunk.nl (young) people post pictures of exclusive cars they have spotted.
Argh. I need to eat a chocolate doughnut to calm down from all these Karmas when mine is nowhere to be seen.
