Once in a while, when I check the main page, one of the top-level threads has the "new message" green plus next to its name but when I go into that thread, there are no new messages. This happens a lot with dormant threads such as "Fisker Coachbuild" or "Fisker Nina". Wondering if it is a bug or are the messages actually getting invisibly updated.

I believe this is a bug in the forum software.

I will consult with the forum software developers for a solution. In the meantime, one can click "Mark all forums read" at the bottom of the forum index page for a quick solution.

Make sure they update you to version 6.13, at a minimum.
