To Fisker management:

We, the undersigned Karma owners, investors, and EV enthusiasts petition and ask Fisker management to reverse its decision regarding the replacement of the command center screen for Fiskerbuzz member Lori and replace the unit free of charge. Even if this particular repair is not covered under the warranty, it should be done to further enhance and amplify the goodwill and support of Fisker owners everywhere who are loyal ambassadors and advocates for Fisker.

Respectfully submitted,

The undersigned Owners, Investors, and Members of the Fiskerbuzz community. [hr]

Consider this post as my signature on the above petition. As someone who just bought my Karma last week, it is very concerning to me that it seems as though Fisker is unwilling to take at face value the statement by one of the first Karma owners and therefore an ambassador to the brand.

I would like it noted that I also agree with the Petition to Fisker to Replace Lori's Cracked Command Center Screen under Warranty.
FISKER: Replace Lori's Command Center screen, for heavens sake!

Consider this message as my signature on the petition.
I also agree that Fisker should show some goodwill and replace Lori's screen.

Consider this post my agreement -- fix the screen.
take care of the girl... take the sample unit that is sitting in the design center not being used and take her cracked screen one for the design center.

a good unit or one with a cracked screen is perfectly fine for sitting on the floor in the design center.
Petition signed.

Jeez, Fisker, do you really want more bad publicity? If this goes to a lawsuit, all the auto journals and business press will cover it.
Fisker does NOTHING for those that have good things to say..

They only do things for people complaining and giving them bad press.
Example: SoCalGuy, Fisker gave him FREE window tint because he kept complaining.

we are all complaining about issues but I didn't get FREE window tint on my Karma!

Lori, I would suggest you start complaining to fisker direct.. If you truely did not cause physical damage to the screen you should file a small claims case against fisker automotive. Also news networks are becoming very easy to contact.

Thank You, Thank You all or the support.

The dealer, not Fisker has decided to replace the screen.

I would still like to hear from Fisker somewhere along the line.

Thank you all for the support and respect.:thumbup:

Sincerely,
Lori

Not very happy with Fisker but kudos to your dealer for great support. It's not like Fisker can afford to alienate any user at the moment, so this is not their best judgment call.

As I often say, All's well that ends.
I unstuck this thread since the issue appears to have been resolved to @Lori's satisfaction. I am a little disappointed that the thread had close to 400 views, but only 11 signatures on the petition. I was hoping for a more unified response on this issue. Nevertheless, thanks to everyone who signed the petition.
I've been meaning to add my VIN/serial number but I have to go look at it (26xx is all I can remember offhand) and I've been having a Medical Issue (if any of you have had kidney stones, you know just what I mean...).

EDIT: serial number (last however many digits of VIN) is 2631.
I've been away from the forum, but I'll sign to show support, though after the fact. I'm more distressed personally about Fisker questioning Lori's recitation of the incident than whether the screen is actually part of the bumper to bumper warrenty or not.

Yes, that was tougne in cheek. Obviously the screen would be between the bumpers.
I support Lori's position. I'd also like to remind our friends at Fisker, who have given me excellent customer service and even a substantial goodwill gesture for the troubles during arrival, that the positive PR versus negative PR caused by remedying this situation, plus the fact that there is no evidence to contradict the customer's claim that the screen cracked under her finger, should make the decision to cover the cracked screen a straightforward one.
Just read the post and totally agree. Petition signed.
I agree. Incomprehensible it is not covered under the warranty
Lori, I can't believe this is even a big deal to Fisker to replace a screen on your command center. Consider this my signature that your screen be replaced by Fisker.
This should not be a big deal they would be much better off to replace it than risk more bad plublicity.
