When driving home (stealth mode) I suddenly got a performance drop.
Actually, The performance (torque) suddenly dropped when I reached 125km/h. So reaching 125 was as usual, but then it dropped.

I only had 10km radius left when it happend. It was about 28 degrees Celcius.

Is this some kind of safety feature to preserve battery for the last km's, or is something wrong.

He is now charging, so no idea if the problem is persistent with more range...

Just tested performance, and with a full battery, the torque line just keeps going, even beyond 125 km/h until of course the 150 km/h where the limiter jumps in...

So, still not clear if this was a one of issue, or there is actually a kind of safety which kicks in when you are on your last kilometres. I have to say, I was driving quite "sporty" while in stealth, so maybe batteries where getting hot and that triggered the safety...

Anyone knows of this?

Per someone on the board (can't remember who), there are temperature sensors in the drive train, and if something gets too hot (inverters would be typical), software will limit performance while the too-hot items cool down.

I'm not aware of any limiters that activate as a result of battery range but there are temperature limiters on the inverters that will kick in if exceeded. According to various posts on this board they are not likely to trigger in normal driving but very spirited driving or unusual environmental conditions can cause them. As I recall, even a couple of zero-to-high speed max acceleration runs in a row can cause it. It's a safety/system preservation precaution. Once things cool everything is back to normal.
