Hi!
I just bought me a Fisker here i Norway.
After a bit of driving i found some things that might not be as it should be.

When i driving downhill, I release the gas pedel, after about 30sec it start to come a noise from rear. If i press the gas pedal in just a bit the noise goes away (I do not need to accelerate, just push the pedal a bit)

Some one know where i can start look for the problem or are it normal With this noise??

Last 4 of VIN?

I am going to guess the muffler. They went through several modifications, so I vote for that! What does the noise sound like?

If it is coming from the rear, it can't be the muffler, because the muffler is in the engine compartment in front of the driver, not behind.

What @Norwegian is describing sounds more like an issue with the Rear Drive Module (RDM) or one or both motors. The motors make a normal electrical whine when the car is slowing down and regenerating electricity, but there should not be any mechanical (metal on metal) noises coming from the rear of the car during deceleration. If there is a mechanical sound coming from the back of the car, you may be looking at some serious repairs, unfortunately.

This problem has been discussed in greater detail in threads such as this one.

Did the car come with any sort of warranty?

Buzz kill! I find noises come from places other than where you think. Hopefully I am right and not Fab...cross your fingers.

My vin is 1616. It is not the muffler. I'm sure it coming from the rear. It not a metal noise, it more something like a gears that do not engage. Coming when the care is generating.. Maybe it normally for that I know.

Typically when you accel in Hill Mode you shouldn't hear any whining noise when you release the gas pedal and you hear a whining noise it's the RDM while the car is on a decel you can acel some and see if the noise stops
