No heat when engine off - PTC pump vs PTC heater

Hey all. You know the drill. I've got no heat when the engine is off. I bought the car like this. I assumed it was the PTC pump and ordered this. Unfortunately after replacing it, I can now see that the vehicle isn't commanding the pump to turn on. Moving on, I put my hands on the outlet hoses from the PTC heater and neither are warm with the heat set to max in stealth mode. Does one affect the other? For instance, if the vehicle sees that the heater is not turning on does it not call for the pump to turn on? Conversely, if the pump doesn't turn on, does the vehicle not turn on the heater?

Not sure where to turn at this point.

Mike,

Here is how the HVAC works - attached Power Point.

Appreciate it. I have a pretty good idea of how the system works. My issue is diagnostics. I don't know under what circumstances it commands the pump to turn on or really where to begin if the pump isn't turning on. My PTC heater doesn't appear to be making heat and my PTC pump never comes on.
Ok, maybe this attached might be able to help.

May not be the correct pump despite the fact that it looks the same.

Regardless if the pump is working or not the pct heater will get hot

I appreciate all the replies. The car had some other issues that weren’t fully sorted so it had to go back to Pat. I asked him to look at it and report back with his findings. I’ll update the post when we know what’s up.

Super helpful info here though. You guys are awesome.
