NFL player Frank Walker recently posed with his new 2012 Fisker Karma on 24?s for Chrome Magazine. I guess just because he’s driving electric now with a Fisker Karma doesn’t mean he can’t keep things flashy.

What do you think of the Fisker on 24?s?

Not that it matters to Mr. Walker, but doesn't this negatively affect the handling (e.g., rubbing against the wheel well wall)? Also, making the tires bigger changes the final gear ratio and actually slows the car down.

If they fit correctly the outside diameter will remain the same. The sidewalls on the tires will just be more narrow.

I noticed in the video that his brake lights (especially the left one) keep flickering on and off. I noticed that also in a video I ran across somewhere on the web of someone test driving a Karma. Is this normal?
The brake lights don't actually flicker. The brake lights are LEDs and what you're observing is an artifact of the pulse rate of the lights not syncing with the frame rate of the camera. To our eyes there is no flickering but it can appear that way when filmed.

There was a long discussion of this a while back. Start here and read through some of the threads if you're interested:

Kind of. It is normal only in videos. It has to do with the frequency of the flicker of LED and frame speed, if I recall correctly. In other words, it is only seen in videos, not live.
