Recently purchased a 2012 Fisker Karma Ecosport in Deep Ocean with 11,000 on the clock from an independent car dealer in New York who was fantastic but now having various problems with the import process but hopefully should be sat on my garage in January 2014, can't wait! I have a few queries that I am hoping the Forum can help me with:
1) Due to the complex nature of the paint is it a simple process for my local paint shop to mix IT up? I have read that it is a Dupont code, does anyone have the code for Deep Ocean and will it translate to a UK paintshop? (part of the import problem in transit!)
2) The VIN number is YH4K14AA1CA, can any of you guys who have the history details tell me anything about it?
3) The testing station says they have to take the bumper off to change the headlight bulbs, is that the case, been quoted 2 hours for the work?
4) Trying to register the vehicle as "alternative fuel" to save on the annual duty payments in the UK but need details of the official emissions figures as tested in Europe (by TUV?), is there a link anyone can email me?
