Gap insurance has been discussed in several previous posts. Also, it's generally available from your insurance company and your lender. Get a quote from both and look at the Terms and Conditions. In my case, the lender was a better deal.

I got mine insured with AAA who also cover our other cars, home, etc. It was actually cheaper to insure than my Jaguar was.

I use fireman's fund and was cheaper for my Karma than my other cars but get value lock which pays better than blue book if in accident and totaled. My value lock was $108k last year and is $ 106500 if anything happens this year ( until next renewal June 2014) it is a great deal. Have used it on a BMW and they paid me over $5k more than comparable cars being sold in the area but have to have the "value lock" program

I am insured by State Farm. I got a 'second car' discount for the Karma which means it is insured for slightly less than my BMW 530xi Sport Wagon. That's right. The Karma is insured for less than my station wagon!

I have insurance through Thehartford and I'd greatly recommend them to anyone looking for affordable rates and excellent service. You should definitely get a quote from them. Good luck!
