Hey guys, just picked up VIN YH4K16AA4CA000202 yesterday. Car isn't in perfect shape, but for what I paid, I could repaint the car, buy new wheels and redo the whole interior for less than any other Karma I've looked at. So, as much as I'd like to see this stay running, I've gone into it assuming one day something is going to break that can't be fixed, then we'll gut the car and drop a high horsepower gas drivetrain in it.

Also, as beautiful as the car is, the one thing I can't stand is the side marker lights. We've been making color matched LED's for Camaro's, Vettes & Mustangs at my shop for awhile now, and I think we'll be doing a set for the Fisker. If all goes well, we'll make them available for sale.

Congrats on the purchase. Can we get a picture? I'm curious as to just how bad it is.
That car has had a ton of warranty work done including a new HV battery and a RDM

I know that doesn't really show much, but basically it's a lot of small scratches, door sill scuffs, wheels with curb rash, worn suede on the steering wheel and 1 small area near the exhaust with cracked paint. Nothing major for a used car, but being that we build show cars, it's far from that quality, but again for the price we paid all that can be fixed with money to spare.

How many miles 33k?
Yes, 33k miles

Is that a good thing or bad thing?

It's definitely a good thing

Absolutely a good thing - congrats on a great deal. Also if there is any positive news coming out of this sale of the company, prices could finally steady. Keep us posted on those marker lights!
It's not very hard to convert marker lights into LED lights unless you plan on making new lens also .

We take the lens, open it up, add a LED strip the length of the lens, tint the entire lens, then paint the lens, except for where the LED strip is. Here's an example of the Camaro ones we do.

Most of the sidemarkers we do are simple, cause they are straight. The Fiskers are curved so it presents a bit of a challenge finding a strip that will look correct. We've done curved ones on C6 Corvettes, so I'm sure we'll find something to work. Here's a quick PS I did on the front lens

Just gives the car a much cleaner look

If Fisker resumes production, they need this on the 2014 model - looks very good. Keep us posted when available.
@halocars....I looked at that one, really could not afford to do all the updates to it. I am interested in those LED's so let me know if you guys get those done. I too may decide to change the color on my Karma, but I have not decided, but please let me know if you do a V8 Swap, I may do one with you at the same time, I have been thinking about it, but I really love the battery power as well, and the great MPG's I get, but I just miss the corvette's HP's. Coming from a Vette its a big difference, but I do love the torque. I will most likely do it if something goes wrong that I can't afford to get fixed, I am just hoping our warranties come back to life.
Looks great, the camaro lens especially, very cool
