Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and been in the market for a Fisker. This has been an informative forum and without everyone's first hand experience and knowledge, I would have never considered one.

There is one that has been inspected by Harley Guy and wanted to get his opinion on it. Vin is YH4K14AAXCA001746. Any help in pre-purchase checklist would be appreciated. I read the sticky on that checklist and it was great.

Thanks All and look forward to owning one soon.

Thanks. I finally got in touch with him. As I'm located in Houston, TX and being that my nearest Fisker dealer is in Dallas (4.5hr drive), how do you all handle servicing ? I assume if it's something simple, ie. oil change, 12v batter y replacement, air filter, etc, can be done locally, but if it's related to the ECU or getting updates, I'm hoping that the fault would still allow me to drive 4.5hrs. For those that have to drive a ways, any advice?

Also, I heard that the 520 update will be out in June.

I live in Dallas and use Frank Kent Fisker for all my service. I only take my car in once a year for service. Back when I had my last Lotus Esprit, I used Star Motors in Houston for service because I didn't like the local dealer. I'd drive my car down, fly back and a week later fly back down and drive my car back. You can do that too, but in reverse. Drive your car up, Uber to DFW airport and fly back to Houston. Then a week later, fly back. You can even buy a round trip ticket to make it cheaper.
