New member looking to join karma family with Signature question

Been reading forum for a few days now and seriously considering joining karma family. I think Signature models were among the first karmas sold and I have a few questions:

1-what are differences between Signature model and Eco Sport and Eco Chic models?
2-since Signature models are the ones with lower VIN #, are they the ones most likely to have various glitches, problems and battery issue?
3-if this is the case can someone help me check if I provide VIN # on history of repairs and updates?
4-any other additional info on Signature model would very much appreciated?

Am so impressed how you all help each other to solve problems that honestly it's what gives me confidence in purchasing one considering warranties are not being honored.

I wouldn't touch a signature- too much to go wrong. You will basically have to change the whole driveline (battery, RDM etc) to have a reliable car. Finding one that has been completely updated may be tough. Go for a higher vin car with a decent amount of miles. 2xxx should be more reliable but YMMV. Either way plan on setting aside at least 5-10k in case something goes wrong.

Main difference is the SIG's have an exclusive silver mirage color (only 100 made). Basically silver wind with a goldish hue. The interior has Henrik's signature on the front glass along with the # out of 100. Also the interior is a special monsoon tri-tone that couples a dark brown with cream vs black with cream on the normal monsoon's.

Post the VIN here and I will try to find out some information on the vehicle. There are other people that can also look up this information as well. Once again I think it would be foolish to go for an early vin car at this point.

You can read up on all the differences between the trim models here:

Hello smooth operator. I am considering buying a signature edition #98. Are you able to somehow see what has been done to the car already? Thank you in advance !
Yea #76 looks clean- looks like it has been maintained religiously but you should contact Daryl at Fisker SV. He dealt with this car personally and can fill you in better on the specifics of the vehicle. Some information is not available globally and the local dealership will probably have more information than I can provide (basically warranty replacements). I can see that this car was serviced after the layoff but only the local dealer would know what exactly was serviced/replaced since there was no one at Fisker HQ to process. I can give you part of the story but Daryl could probably give you the full story on this car.

If this is @Skibum's car that he traded in for a Quatroporte, you may be able to get more information from him as well. If it is, I would suggest PMing him.

Thank you for your input Sir, but I meant #98. Do you have info on batterry RDM etc. or can you point me to the person who would know.

Again thank you for your time and efforts. People like you, Lormax, Harleyguy truly are an incredible asset for all us Fisker owners. thank you gain.
Hello Signature #59, I would love your input since am considering a Signature myself, just worried about the very low VIN # on Signature models that might bring more problems than higher # , and I can see out of pocket repairs on these are quiet expensive. Would love your input as an owner. Thanks
fyi - higher number vins have just as many problems as lower VINs. The difference is lower vins were around a lot longer and experienced issues before service fixes were introduced to the field.
His car has new traction motors in it i believe

Hello SIB,

I only have 2000m on the car, but have had no problems at all. I bought the car with 1400m on it directly from dealer as first owner. Owned by Franchise dealer so assume that all work was done by them.

I am a little worried because of warranty situation and seriously considering selling it if I get a decent offer. It has the 3m bra on fron and back bumber and sideskirts.

Again have not had the car long so cannot really vouch for reliability until I put more miles on it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Harley. Any other service information you have would be greatly appreciated.
How much are you asking for the car?

I would really love to be buying a new signature edition. But as did my friend told me about a signature model but the owner was not at all agreeing on to selling.
Mine is for sale. Only 2K miles.. Like new condition with full 3m bra for paint protection. All services done with latest software. let me know if you are interested.
