Hello Fisker Buzz,

I bought my Fisker Karma on 28 august, in Holland. It is a eco chic, grey, daimond dust!! from june 2012!!

I am very happy with the latest news, with the bidding by Richard Li.
I crossed my fingers before, because two weeks ago the diferential gear broke down.

My garage Kroymans in Holland will repair it next week, the parts coming from Germany.

greetings for fisker fans from

Welcome to the community and sorry to hear about the breakdown. You are very fortunate that your dealer is fixing the car for you. When you get a chance please post a few pictures of your car.
Hartelijk welkom.
Is dit de Fisker uit Lelystad?
If you don't mind me asking the miles on your car and the last four digits of your VIN. Thanks.
Thanks for the intro,

And dutchfisker, i think you are right that my car is from Lelystad, i am living in Hengelo, in this area i did not see anymore Fisker Karma on the street!

In Dutch:
Het is helemaal te gek hoe men reageert op deze auto! Ondanks de huidige reparatie, van het differentieel is het een fantastische ervaring, zou goed en leuk zijn om meerdere Karma's te ontmoeten.

Greetings Coen
Hello SC Karma,

the last four numbers from the VIN: 2284, is this wat you mean?
The kilometers on this car are 20.000!
Picture's coming soon from this great car! very enthusiatic about the Fiskers.
FiskerHoland, that's the VIN I was looking for. You have a high VIN and yet you still had a differential failure. Now do you know specifically if the failure is related to the RDM or TM? Thanks.
Hello SC Karma,
There was first a noise and a little bit later the car did not move anymore, so i think it is the RDM, the car is still in the garage, they told me that the material was not hard enough, mayby you know more about this.
It sounds like the splines in the TMs just spun out on you. You have a high VIN so the splines should have been hardened. Maybe Lormax or HarleyGuy can chime in.

Is the repair under warranty or you have to pay for it? Did they give you an estimate of the costs?
It's possible that the splines rusted, using the rust as an abrasive and wore out. That's only a guess, without knowing anything about the car or any other information other than it doesn't move.

Please let me know about the repairs, especially if you are going to end up paying for the parts. I may be able to help reduce some of the costs.

The repair is warranty! The garage Kroymans in Holland now waiting for the parts, it arrivés this week, it is a compleet differential with the elektric motors!
Wenn i have more information i let you know!
Tanks Lormax, for a possible support! For now it is not neccesary, because the garage repair it under warranty they told me. Wenn i have more information i let you know.
You're very fortunate to have that covered under warranty. Tell the shop to loctite the motors to the RDM assembly before re-installation to the cradle.

Is Loctite marketed worldwide under the same name?
I hope so? If not, I'll be happy to provide the owner with a link to purchase the product.
Is Loctite marketed worldwide under the same name?
Yes, it is, but loctite has many products, so it is important to know which loctite to use.
dealerships have the same information in europe so there shouldn't be any reason not to have it, they probably do just as many rdms as in the US.

Its good to be a karma owner in europe
