You can pretty much just look at the last 4 VIN digits. There were ~2700 cars made, though many of the latest VINs were lost on a ship in Hurricane Sandy (and the Laguna Blue cars which were also among the last made). If you're over 2000, you're definitely a "late VIN". If you're in the high teens, you're probably also good. But, if the car has had all the upgrades, it can be just fine as a lower number, too. Mine's 2114.
The car is unique, and it has some quirks. You should read every thread in this forum to find out the best practices. If you get a good one, you'll really just love it.
