Hey folks,

Just wanted to thank everyone, Don and Travis in particular, for all your help. Turns out that I bought Dennis's Shadow/Canyon tri-tone #324 last night. He's kept the car in great shape and I intend to do that same with more help from this site. The car will be making the long trek (18 minutes drive) home in the coming days. Dennis has a long list of amazing Fisker stories and trivia. I hope we don't lose sight of him on this forum.

I'll be researching outdoor quick charge stations next and all advice/info is appreciated. Until then, I'll be charging up at work and in front of city hall a couple of blocks away.

Cheers :)

Awesome  great to hear that. Now we are karma twins, or cousins lol. My karma is still almost here, delays with shipping long distance. Should be here by thursday or friday. Im glad dennis made the choice to sell it locally. Will be looking for some pics from you and update your fisker buzz avatar (with your karma picture)
Always here to help, as I have been helped.
Don

Congratulations and welcome to the Forum. Normally, I ask new owners to post photos of their Karma, but Dennis' car is well represented here, including being on the Forum's banner. It would be nice to have a picture of the car with you next to it, however. So when you get a chance, post a photo or two with your new Karma.

I live near Dennis and own exactly the same car. Although Dennis is the "Karmapedia," of all things Fisker and can answer any of your questions, feel free to PM me anytime you'd like. In fact, the two of us driving down the main drag of either of our towns would be a sight to see.

Quick question:

I did a quick search fro bluetooth and passwork, etc. with no results. I can't get the password to work when pairing the phone via bluetooth...tried the usual 0000 and 1234. Anyone?

Cool! I take it you got delivery!!! Congrats! Yes, the car is awesome...I doubt I'll ever need to get out of stealth mode. So far so good. I already got confirmation of shipping for the charger and a chargepoint card from work :)

Mine was kinda tricky pairing it...It will display its own BT code. Once pairing is initiated. Press Phone then connect or Phone with plus symbol, put your phone on BT search mode. It will find kama then select that from phone. Thats when a code will display on karma screen I believe mine was 15**. Although it sometimes jumps on and off bluetooth audio with no notice.

Great to hear that my CC level 2 charger just got here today via UPS. I have been driving the Karma since last 9/6 Friday. :)

The YouTube video says it all. Very cool.

If you're still having problems, make sure Dennis' cellphone isn't in the system. I've never done it, but deleting a BT device should be possible from the touch screen menu.

very cool. I managed to delete Dennis's phone but I must not have tried the + button but instead the pairing button...My phone recognized it so I thought it was working. I'll try it as soon as I get off this work conference call. Thanks.

I think I got the phone paired and it shows up with the note and the phone icon....which would make me assume the music is also now accessible with the entertainment screens. No such luck. I'm going to try and thumb drive next.

Sometimes you have to cycle completely through the audio source control switch on the steering wheel to get the music to play. If that doesn't work, let the car sit for a few minutes to perform a soft reset. It should perform reliably after that.

Weird but bluetooth music worked just fine this morning...I'm starting to think that if something isn't working to just let it be and it will eventually start working. I hope this is the case with the remote gate opener that doesn't seem to want to learn from my remote. I'll try it tonight.

Some more impressions:
-The stereo sounds so much better with digital content rather than the radio.
-I don't like that it's hard to adjust the brightness of the dash without going into the lengthy UI. I do UI for a living so this probably gets me more than it does others.
-I also don't like that the steering buttons don't light up. I'm sure I'll learn them soon enough though.
-Windows going down with the remote is great but my 12 year old car also has this to make them go up. Am I doing something wrong?
-It would be nice if the back up camera reacted to steering position and had green guidelines that move, like other manufacturers.
-Overall, the drive into work was a bit bouncy but still something special and enjoyable.
-Amazing how people slam on their brakes to look at the car when they see it through the fence.

I'm getting a free charge at one of the charge points in our work parking lot. :)
