I have read the article and it's not favorable - basically the volt wins on price - go figure :). There are some good points as well.
After a 30 minute download and some Acrobat editing, here it is :exclamation:

Dennis,

Thank you for taking the time and posting the article. I liked it and did not think it was negative towards the Karma. Realistically it's like comparing apples to oranges.

I think of the reasons we bought the Karma (besides the fact that it's ecofriendly).

Looks, It's only about 3 inches narrower than a Lambo Diablo, and about 3 inches wider than a corvette Z06 (we had to rearrange the platforms for our lift in the garage) . The interior is beautiful,
pulls .89 g's in this article (Road & Track had .91 g's), and is just great to drive.

;)

Thanks dennis - btw I just cleared up some PM space...
Decent article, not especially negative or positive to either car I felt. One piece of incorrect information about the Karma: the article states that there is no button to unlock the doors if your key fob is in your pocket, but of course there is a door unlock button on the center console of the Karma (the left of the three buttons).
I think what the article meant was you shouldn't have to push the button to unlock the door. You should be able to leave the key in your pocket and by proximity it should automatically unlock the karma. I agree, that would be better.

I was also impressed that the driver got zero to 60 in under 6 seconds. The volt got zero to 60... Eventually. Hahahah...

I like the volt, and am impressed with anyone who makes the plunge to plug in. I love my karma, and hope more people buy one -- it's an extraordinary car.
Love my Karma and actually have convinced two neighbors to buy Volts. To me kind of like the difference between a Ferrari and Z06 Corvette. If you only like the "best" the you would never even be seen dead in a Corvette. If you want " the best buy" the Corvette wins hands down. Different strokes for different folks.
