A car detailer tore a piece off my rear lower valence (the central rounded grid-like piece is gone) and I need a replacement valence. Does anyone know how or where I can get one? Are there any parts cars yet? Any suggestions? Has anyone else needed body parts yet?

Just came back from my dealer, had a long conversation with owner. Not so sure about being able to order parts yet, but wouldn't bet against next week.

I believe dealers can now order parts; so contact your dealer.

Ok Gents, spill the beans. Being able to order parts?!? That's a big step in the right direction.

Sandy, Haven't you heard? Bieber is buying Fisker... and the Atlantic has been renamed the Biebermobile.
SoCal, If this gets reported as "Fact" by some lazy reporter on TV or some other media outlet I'm blaming you!

IRA: Of all of the Beiber comments I've seen, yours is my favorite :)

Neither Fisker Miami or Palm Beach were aware of any new found ability to contact Fisker for parts or anything. Has there been some miraculous change that they and I are unaware of?

Strange. Was this today? Try next week.

You can have your body shop pull the rear bumper and try to bondo that grid portion back onto the bumper, sand, prime paint. Is it beyond repair or are pieces missing?

Yes, i spoke with them today. So, what's happened next week? Are warranties also being honored?

Unfortunately, most of the central portion of the valance is missing. Still not sure how it happened. I assume it was another driver, because I never heard any unusual noise from the back of the car while driving or pulling out of a parking spot. I have been often backing into parking spaces to protect the front end from parking curbs, never imagining a clearance problem in the rear. It would have to have been a very high parking curb to literally tear a 10 in wide piece away from the middle of the valance from front to back (to just below the horizontal rear fog light). So, why didn't I hear the valence rub up against something when backing in? I'm very careful backing up as well. Could it have happened at 85 mph? Is it a design flaw?

I saw one on ebay once, probably road debris.

I don't think the warranty will come back any time soon.

No it's not a design flaw. You backed into something. Use your camera and figure out when something you see will hit your rear.
Thanks but I always use the camera when backing, and inch the car backwards and forwards in and out of parking spaces. If I did it, why didn't it make a sound? Very strange. I don't recall hearing any unusual sound on the highway either.

Saw what on ebay? The Karma valence for sale, or a wrecked valence picture?

Why can't you explain why parts are suddenly going to be available as of today or next week. What is the big secret? Who is your source. I'm sure there are a lot of members who would benefit from this info.

Let me clear some things up about parts that are available at this point . And warranty first off the warranty as it stands right now is gone if the dealer wants to pay for warranty work on a customers car that's up to the dealer the dealer is paying for that out of pocket . Their won't be any reimbursement from Fisker . The only parts I've seen listed on E-Bay now and in the past are front bumper and I know the body shop that bought that and some headlamp assemblies and now some calipers .I have called every scrap yard that are located around New Jerseys Port hoping to find some total cars and or parts no luck at all . As far as Fisker having parts they have or had a limited amount of parts still located at HQ a list of parts were provided and sent too the dealers and only dealers what parts were on hand . The list wasn't very big and a lot of parts they had would need software loaded into them before they could be used case in point Traction Motor inverters without the software they are useless and no the dealers don't have that software at one point they were going to add that but it never happened . If we need a inverter programmed it had to be sent to HQ programmed then sent back too the dealers. They had no keys available no window glass very few body parts I can't provide the list and not even sure what's left on the list it was a one time thing and not even sure the dealers can buy anymore parts . I can tell you any of the parts that were offered for the dealers staying in business are going to hold onto the parts for their customers . Since the dealers have to pay for the parts and the shipping costs they aren't going to give up those parts to easy . I'm trying to locate some Karmas that have been totaled and if they end up in scarp yards I will post what yards they are at .So at this point what ever you hear that isn't close to what I just posted don't believe it unless someone has the part in hand that you need watch out for any scams .
