So in the 12 months I have had my Karma I had yet to see one "in the wild" outside of a Fisker event or near the dealer. And last night, as I was walking to dinner, I saw a silver Karma near Union Square in SF - how amazingly beautiful with lights on and in motion !!! And so quiet! Now I can fully appreciate why we get all the stares and attention!

I've seen at least five in the wild so far (but then, we have almost 150 driving around in this small country) and every time it's such a special moment. Then you realize what an amazing sight the people around your car are having.

I used to see Ray Lane's Karma driving down Sand Hill fairly often. On occasion I see one on El Camino, but with a dealership near by, those might be test drives. Saw one in San Rafael when I had an occasion to be up there. So not uncommon here in the Bay Area (along with all the other plug-ins).

Doug - if you see a Special Edition on El Camino near the dealership it's not a test drive, it's me. I go past the dealer 2-3x/day...they should give me promo $$$ at this point....
Special Edition? You mean Signature?

And yesterday back here in LA, I saw another owner Model S - metallic gray. So I sped up to get beside it - funny that all the other cars around it were staring at my Karma - I honked, the Model S driver looked over, but a little confused (did he not know what a Fisker was? Perhaps he wasn't used to attention driving the Model S?) - he got on the 405 off Hawthorne Blvd... and I looped back to go home. Its amazing how easily the Model S blends with the other cars - unnoticeable and mistakeable for a Lexus, Jaguar, Mazda, etc.

Possibly coming from SpaceX.
Nope, very unlikely. He was coming south, headed north, from West Torrance/South Redondo down Hawthorne Blvd (not city of Hawthorne). SpaceX is located in the opposite direction about 10 miles away.

Just spotted another white Fisker Karma in Redondo Beach as I was coming from the airport. Then later this morning, I spotted a parade of 20 Tesla Model S and Roadsters off Paseo del Mar in Palos Verdes near my house - was quite a sight to see! Too bad I was in my Q5 and not the Karma!

I keep mistaking Toyota Avalons for a Model S (and vice versa). Talk about bland styling!

Saw another Karma two days ago in Toronto... it was heading north on Bay St. Silver with the winter tire rims. Did a double take since it was the last place I thought I'd see one.

agree with SOCal Guy- we have about 6-7 Fiskers here in Scottsdale/Paradise Valley- see one on rare occasion. BUT pulling up next to Tesla, which is becoming more common and Tesla owners cringe a bit knowing their company may be viable BUT their car gets looked over as nothing special compared to the Karma which gets constant stares from everyone- even in those driving Lambo, Bentleys, Ferraris, anything- The KArma attracts your eyes where the Tesla gets none of that

I think the Tesla owners realize that they could have easily ended up in the same place we are headed and, I would guess, most of them are car enthusiasts who can appreciate a nice car, even if they are not driving it.

I have only gotten admiring looks and thumbs-up from Tesla drivers, never anything negative, and I have always returned the compliments genuinely and sincerely.
