Hehe. I tend to give up in the winter, but generally find a new motivation come the spring (ergo some sun to actually make a shine worthwhile).Tech26 said:Thanks for sharing! How often do you plan to polish and wax her to keep that paint looking good?
Yes, I wondered about that too when I was researching the vehicle and visiting the dealership. I was certainly *charged* for Diamond Dust and indeed sparkles are well and truly evident in the paint, which we may as well accept is whatever "Diamond Dust" is supposed to be. Maybe the website hasn't been updated to quite match the available 2012 configurations.pythagoras said:Wow while Inferno doesn't seem to be classified as one of the 'diamond dust' paints that still looks super sparkly! Too bad the Fisker website configurator images don't capture that.
At least according to the Order Guide when I ordered mine Inferno was listed as a "Special Paint", a separate category from Diamond Dust (and the only such color) with an upcharge. Other colors like Earth and Deep Ocean were listed as Diamond Dust. I have no idea what the difference is. Inferno sure is sparkly and eye catching!skywalker said:Yes, I wondered about that too when I was researching the vehicle and visiting the dealership.
