Hello Everyone,

I am getting about 35 miles around town off of a charge, driving very conservatively. Is this right? The meter says 50 per charge, but I am just not getting that. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance!

Welcome to Karma ownership. Depending on the outside temperature, terrain and driving style most Karma owners see between 30 and 45 miles per charge. 35 miles per charge is pretty typical for me as well. When it's cold it's even lower and in ideal conditions I can do well over 40.

50 Miles Range was a marketing myth. Fisker's range Guess-o-Meter is worse than most, and that's saying something.

Miles per charge has many factors that come into play, temperature, speed, driving uphill or downhill, using heat or AC to name a few. I do not get 50 miles per charge. When I drive conservatively I usually get about 40 to 45 depending on what terrain is for that drive. San Diego has a very temperate climate and I know that does help my driving numbers.
Thank you for the response everyone. This helps me level set my expectations. BTW has anyone tried any mods on the batteries or adding batteries to the series? Just curious.

A couple of people have hinted at that, and then mysteriously disappeared leaving behind nothing but ominous silence. For example, see this post.

The amount of energy stored in the High Voltage Battery in a Karma is -- not to put too fine a point on it -- absolutely lethal. As a result, there are very few people who want to mess with it.
My wife's daily commute is about 32 miles round trip, and she arrives home with about 4-8 miles left depending on A/C use, so your results are not atypical.

I will tell you though: if we drive to south beach for dinner on the highway, we will eat up 28 of the 50, but if we take the back roads (which involve more distance), we only use about 16-18, so the car is MUCH more efficient in city driving than it is at speeds over 60mph.
Yes, that was going to be my question ... Do you do a lot of highway driving? Also, are you engaging hill mode when braking (as it does kick the re-charg-o-meter way up)?
