As of today there still isn't any release date for 615 from what I understand they are running the software and refining it and looking into some bugs . I also understand this is going to be a very good update and take car of a few problem areas . Still hoping for it sometime this month keep your spirits high .

I was told the same thing today by Fisker HQ Consumer Affairs.
RE: 615 update

It's a good thing they take their time for this and don't rush it.
RE: 615 update

Do you think we will get an email? I'm hoping it's a remote thing, not days in the shop, but agree, whatever it takes for a good update will be worth it .
RE: 615 update

I spoke to my dealer rep today (CEL!!!) and was told that he had been told the patch would be released and available "end of this week or early next".

Just spoke with my service manager. He talked to Fisker HQ today and they are not committing to a date for 6.15. This is consistent with LaSorda's Open Letter that said they would release the software as soon as testing and validation are completed.

Ross, the car cannot be updated over the air, nor can updates be emailed to owners and self-installed. It will need to be brought into a dealership. From what I understand, it takes a few hours to update the software on a car; it's not simply a matter of uploading one software component, there are usually a number of systems to be updated or reflashed, and then some calibration/initialization. Most dealerships also use the visit as an opportunity to address any Technical Service Bulletin items that have been issued, such as inspections or adjustments recommended by Fisker, and then test drive the car. It shouldn't be 'days in the shop', but it could easily be 'day in the shop'. Of course, that's if everything goes to plan...
RE: 615 update

Thank you, the 32 day stay of our friend scared me, maybe someday we will have Nina loaners!
RE: 615 update

I heard LaSorda is having a meeting this Friday with all the dealers (like a conf call or webcast) - so hopefully that is when he'll announce the 6.15 update.
RE: 615 update

Still no word on my end as far as the 615 update . Lets just wait and see when it comes it comes I know one thing they are doing as much homework they can on the test Karmas . I would rather it take another week instead of an early release .

+1. It is impossible to schedule getting the last bug fixed.
RE: 615 update

My dealer has informed me that 6:15 "is supposed to be released" tomorrow.

This is consistent with my earlier post that LaSorda is having a dealer call tomorrow to likely announce the latest software update.
RE: 615 update

Wow. I'm so anxious. Exciting. Such anticipation. ;)
RE: 615 update

I live fairly close to Fisker's HQ and have seen a lot "test" Karma's being driven lately.
RE: 615 update

I just want my damn car fixed so it no longer is a garage queen. I feel better about driving around my Lambo LP640. Heck, I even took the Lambo to the grocery store last night because I did not want to deal with the Fisker. Hope that 6.15 is out soon.

I was told there will be some additional communication from Tom LaSorda to the owners "within the next few business days".
RE: 615 update

Right now, their official line is "don't comment on expect release date or software version numbers" which i suspect is being ignored by just about everyone, as everyone is getting killed by complaints of issues they can't fix and are in fear of buybacks.

I suspect tomorrows call will either reinforce this or actually give us some sort of idea of their plan. knowing fisker, it could go either way. regardless, i get a few days off, so i am gratefully in the dark as to the details of the call until wednesday.
RE: 615 update

Patiently waiting for 6.15 and in the meantime enjoying my daily drive.
RE: 615 update

Any info from today's dealer call.
