Hello,
since today I have a very weird noise from the back. It starts at 2mph and is loudest at 15mph. From 60mph you don't hear it anymore. It sounds like coming from the loudspeakers which make the spaceship noise and depends on the speed. The sound is like 30 years ago when you dialed in a certain frequency on your radio and then you heard the engine distorted.
Can I disconnect the speaker easily and see if one of them is the problem?
Thank you for your help.
Michael

Yes, a lot! :-(
Is there any fix or does it need to be replaced? I am in Socal.
Thank you!
Unplug the subwoofer (accessible from the trunk its in the middle) and see if that fixes your issue. At the very least you will want to inspect the CIU and remove any moisture on the connectors and seal the hvac air inlet (where the HVAC air filter is located) and cowl so water cannot migrate into the ciu.
