Just replaced all 4 tires. Car only has 9k miles, is this normal or ??? Had the stock Goodyear Eagle F1s. Seems like a little premature for all tires, just wondering other's experience.

I drive aggressively and I got 24K on my Goodyears. That included driving over 12 different High Sierra passes from a elevation of over 7,000 feet to almost 10,000 feet. My Karma is my daily driver.

You really need to follow the wear guidelines for the tires as they look like they need to be replaced long before the guidelines say they need to be. Check the wear-bars in the tread.

There has been a lot of discussion about this topic, and you can find it by searching for "tire wear". One of the most informative posts is this one by @FAChassis.

Mine probably would have made it to 14k or so, but I had a flat and a set of F1's I was getting tired of looking at (bought them a year earlier), so I just changed them at about 12,500 miles.

I'm amazed how well Marswill did with his set. I'm in Florida, and for some reason they don't seem to last as long here (another recent post indicated 9K). You have to refer to FA Chassis' postings and pictures though - tires LOOK worn out long before they actually are.

My original tires lasted until my 30K mile service. I could have squeezed a couple of thousand more miles out of them, but since the car was at the dealer for the service, I had them install the four new tires at the same time.

I probably don't drive as aggressively as @marswil, but those were mostly high-speed highway miles and the tires held up pretty well.
my tires were shot and dangerous at 10k i had a few hydroplaning scares while i waited for my Yokos to arrive from tire rack.
@BDub1: I have a feeling you replaced your tires prematurely. Check the link posted by Fabulist. The second of those PDFs (the one with lots of writing as opposed to pictures only) explains in detail when to replace the tires.

I have a little over 10,000 miles on my Karma right now. And I've had people on the street telling me for a year (in other words, since about 5,000 miles on the odometer) that I need to replace the tires. Lormax just serviced my Karma about 2 months ago and told me I have still have a few thousand miles left. If you were dealing with a tire shop that doesn't understand the original equipment, they may have given you bad advice to replace before necessary.

Thanks. I have realized, too late, that was, in fact, the case. Due to the wear pattern, they appeared done with, but probably had 7500 miles left. Because I had 1 bad one, they assumed all needed replacement. Oh well, next time. Thanks to everyone.
16,500 on my Eagles. Wear bars still okay, but a little bit of cord starting to show through on the outside edges. Yokos arrived and will be installed next week. Anyone got mileage figures on the Yokos?
You may want to re-allign your wheels too. Makes a big difference.
I only got 10k miles on the Eagle Ones, I am sooooo happy with my new tires Yokohama they ride great and I am not paranoid that I am going to blow out a side wall on a turn. Plus, I was so sick of people commenting to me about my bald tires. Mechanics and everyone would say you had better be careful on those bald tires. Plus, I had plugged two from screws I had ran over. Can't be happier, it rides great and I think I will get about 40K miles of wear off of these! I wish someone had commented to me that they were better so I would not have been so nervous about switching brands. So if I can give any advice on the tires -it is GO YOKOHAMA!

We've heard many posts about the availability of Yokos, but it's good to have an endorsement from an actual user.
Just my 2 cents...my are almost bald at 12K miles...not sure how anyone is getting 25K on a set.
Which Yokohamas did you guys buy? I have about 16K on my Eagles and was thinking about replacing then evn though my wear bars are still not flush.
