I'm looking at getting a Karma and paying cash.

I've read through the pros/cons of each and I'm not sure if leasing is a better option. Did anyone get a lease for their Karma? If yes what were the terms? i.e. base cap, monthly payment and length of lease

I have asked the dealer here in Minneapolis about a leasing option at least twice with no response. Maybe the leasing companies cannot figure out the residual value once the lease expires. I did lease rather than buy a Toyota Highlander Hybrid in 2007, to protect myself re: rumors of future battery failures/replacement costs. It turned out to be great and due to gas costs had a much higher value than the residual, so just bought it after 3 years.

I'd like to believe the same scenario would be true for the Fisker. But it does give you pause when the dealer won't respond to the leasing question.

There was an earlier post from the Fisker Cleveland i believe offering 36 mo lease with 40% residual guarantee. Not sure if that helps you or not, but you may either look for that post in an earlier thread or contact them directly They are the only one's i've seen offering a lease.

Fisker Does not have a lease program in place, yet. There is one leasing company whom I have spoken with that does offer a lease on the Karma. It is through Lionbridge. The basics of a 36 month lease were a 40% residual, a money factor of .02394, and 10K miles per year.

I hope this helps!
